About our service

How Do our plans work you ask?

Simple, Choose your Network, Choose your Plan, if your a business Choose your billing preference (Prepaid or Postpaid). 

Postpaid: Our postpaid plans allow you the choose 3 options in regards to data management.

  1. Pay for overages outside your plan on your next billing cycle
  2. Throttle you Data to 2G Speeds 
  3. No Data available after your Data limit

"boom! RED", "AT&T boom! BLUE ", and "boom! PINK" are all open to for Business & Consumers.

As a PostPaid customer you will be elgible for minutes & text overage, shared data plans and multi-network combined billing, we can also build custom rate plans to meet your need. You also Gain access to our Online Account Manager. Here you can do things such as, Sign-up for auto-pay, view past statements, update your contact info, create support tickets. 

Prepaid: Our Prepaid billing gives you 2 options in regards to data management. Prepaid plans are valid for a "30 day" period.

  1. No Data available after your Data limit
  2. Add more data only by Top-up  
  3. Throttling to 2G speeds after 4g LTE is depleted (Select plans only)

Top-ups: You can top up your plan in MYACCOUNT portal 

  1. Choose a Minute Top-up
  2. Choose a Data Top-up
  3. Choose Text Top-up

How do Top-ups work?

Top-ups can be purchased in the MYACCOUNT portal and are only available for Prepaid customers. Top-up's roll-over in 90-day increments as long as you have an active plan. 

For example: You purchase our "boom! RED" Unlimited Talk & Text with 2GB of Data on the August 1st, you use all of your 2GB from the plan on August 15th, and then purchase a 2GB Top-up. You only use 1GB of your Top-up Data and your plan renews for another 30days on August 31st. You start the month off with 3GB of Data. We will always deduct from your Primary plan before we deuduct from your Top-up. If at the end of your 90-day Top-up any data remaining will be forfeited. This method is applicable for Minutes & texting as well.

Choose your plan & network

Let us know if your porting or getting a new number. 

Your cart will include the plan (if prepaid added to total, if postpaid billed later)

There will be a $6.99 shipping & Handling charge in your cart which does include your SIM

Once your you have your SIM (unless 3G Network-S or Network V) contact us to activate. 

 

What can I do in the MYACCOUNT portal?

First, you will need to register for access, just use your email address you signed up with. Once logged in you can:

  • Manage your contact info
  • View your current plan
  • View your Expiraion date
  • Setup autopay
  • Renew your plan "NOW"
  • Change your plan
  • Add Voice Top-ups
  • Add Data Top-ups
  • Add Text Top-up
  • View your transaction history
  • Manage your saved payment profile
  • Change PIN
  • View Primary Plan Data usage
  • See text message usage
  • See Minute usage
  • Future updates coming!

Can I manage Multiple accounts in the MYACCOUNT portal?

Yes you can! Just be sure to use the SAME email and login for each. You will be presented with a selection upon succesful login. 

 

How do I Port-In?

  1. Let us check your device for compatibility (Online tool coming soon) You can call, chat or email your choice. 
  2. Current service Providers Account number  
  3. Your Phone Number
  4. Your PIN (If applicable)
  5. Your Billing Name & Address

How do I Port-Out of boomMOBILE?

You can't! Okay, just kidding. You can but please give us a chance to make sure you're completely satisfied before you leave! Call:1-800-767-5599  Chat:BOOM.US or MYACCOUNT.BOOM.US  Mon-Fri 8a-6pm CST or available 24 hours via eMailsupport@boom.us 

To Port out have your carrier submit a normal port request with the following:

  • boomMOBILE  Account number (we call it a Customer Number)
  • Your Phone Number
  • Your PIN (Default is last 4 of your phone number)
  • Your Billing Name & Address

What does throttling mean?

2G speeds, the functionality of some data applications such as streaming video or audio may be affected. Your data speeds will be restored at the beginning of your next plan cycle. If you can't wait, you can restore your 4G LTE data by, (1) restarting your plan or (2) purchasing a Data Top-Up from MYACCOUNT.BOOM.US. Your throttle speed is 64kbps - 128kpbs.

What Kind of SIM card do I need?

"Network V" & "NETWORK T" use a Tricut SIM (Full Size, Micro, and Nano in one Shell) our AT&T & "Network S" SIM's are Single Cut. Please either specify your size or we will gladly help you determine the proper SIM. 

Do your plans include SIM Cards?

When you add a Plan to the Cart there will be a $6.99 shipping & handling charge. This covers your SIM and the shipping to you. 

How can I obtain a replacement SIM?

What is an ESN (MEID, IMEI)

ESNs, MEIDs, and IMEIs are all codes used by manufacturers and cellular carriers to uniquely identify each device. Each device will generally have one MEID, ESN, or IMEI.

Your device identifier can be found via Android's settings: Settings > About Phone > Status > IMEI information (or similar)

iPhone: Settings > General > About

Your device identifier (i.e., MEID, ESN, IMEI) can be used to check with a device's carrier (e.g., Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T) to check if the device is "clean" (not reported lost or stolen) and not tied to an account in bad standing.
